A young and thin paraplegic lady was brought into ED for severe abdominal colics and constipation for more than 3 weeks duration. The unsuspecting medical officer decided to do an abdominal Xray.

Her family was surprised with the finding which she finally admitted to know about. She was given some medications and was send home. Never make assumptions!

Yep W1, you are right. She was keeping quiet about her pregnancy from her family but her boyfriend was of knowledge about it. Her boyfriend is wheelchair bound.

Oh my God! Whoever the doctor should get whacked! He didnt do PE prior to the xray!

just make sure you have lots of dietary fiber in your food and you will be able to reduce the chances of having Constipation.

it is easy to avoid and treat Constipation. Just eat lots of Fruits and Vegetables with fiber in it. Drink lots of water and fruit juices too.

whenever i get Constipation, all i need to do is drink lots of orange juice and eat foods that have very high fiber.
