Fishing in different context!
A young boy swallowed a foreign object and presented to us a few days later. He was otherwise well but the parents were very anxious. This was his Abdominal Xrays.

So we decided to go fishing. We put in a scope (OGDS) and found the foreign object.
Used a net basket to catch it and took it out slowly through the mouth.

Was the marble causing distress? I’m just wondering if it would have come out, uh, the natural way out the other end? : )

Yes according to the parents. However, it was already a few days after swallowing the marble. I normally would reassure the parents and leave it alone but this case I felt that the marble perhaps was rolling around the stomach.
