In this case, it involves a drug addict who was shooting drugs into his blood vessels. This time, he got it done wrongly and developed a femoral pseudoaneurysm – swelling arising from the femoral artery – a major blood vessel that supplies blood to the leg. If it ruptures, he could bleed to death. So, we took him in for surgery, where we ligated his vessel above the swelling and debrided all the dead infected tissue.
