Photo Hunters : Fake

Now this again is difficult. Looking through the dictionary, it meant to make something specious, deceptive, or fraudulent or even to conceal the defects of or make appear more attractive, interesting, valuable.
Now, in clinical practice, we have a condition called pseudoaneurysm. Well, pseudo means almost like fake in the sense, “not actually but having the appearance of” something. In this case, it involves a drug addict who was shooting drugs into his blood vessels. This time, he got it done wrongly and developed a femoral pseudoaneurysm - swelling arising from the femoral artery - a major blood vessel that supplies blood to the leg. If it ruptures, he could bleed to death. So, we took him in for surgery, where we ligated his vessel above the swelling and debrided all the dead infected tissue.
Like a chameleon, changing its colours to fit its surrounding so as to deceive its predators,
Many sea or marine life do the same. Camouflage is very important for this animals as otherwise they would find it difficult to survive that is to hunt or be hunted.
It was on this huge sea fan, that this little creature below was found.

Wow, George, that will set the photo hunters back a bit, the old pre-op photo!
I knew you would have some good ones for the theme from underwater and the last two are very interesting. What is real nowadays? We can’t even trust a photograph.

Great idea for the theme “Fake” George.
I like it.
Though other finicky Photo Hunters might find it a bit gross

Interesting photos. I kinda backed out on the pseudoaneurysm thingy because medical procedures are just not my cup of tea.

The first photo made my stomach turned.
The underwater photos are always pleasing to the eyes.
The last few photos that you got through email are fake.
Any prize for right answer?

Thanks for the comments
Judy, really I don’t know the real answer myself.
ECL, sorry lo, once a while must make the gut churn. Can’t write as well as you so at least give the same effect through pictures. : ))
