Eight Random Facts
Vijay at scan man’s notes has tagged me with the eight random facts meme.
Rules:
1. Players start with 8 random facts about themselves.
2. Those who are tagged should post these rules and their 8 random facts.

tagged.
Due to delay, I shall not tag anyone instead if any would like to be tagged, please feel free to inform.
The Random Facts:
1. I learned to drive from my dad at 14years old. I started driving with my dad beside officially at 15years old . Legal age for driving license here is 18years old.
2. I used to play the violin and played at official functions, solo and group performance. I intend to restart one day.
3. I am fluent in English and Malay language. I understand Malayalam and Tamil but can’t speak them. I think my little Chinese language knowledge is better than the Indian language.
4. I tend to sleep and drive. Yes this is true. I cannot drive long journeys unless those coming along are entertaining me.
5. I take a long time to decide something. I tend to think and analyze and think and analyze again and again. It took me about 6 months to decide which laptop to buy, for example.
6. I had an attraction to the sea since birth according to my mom. No wonder, scuba diving was a dream come true.
7. I love to travel. My most treasured memories are of my travel to India with my 3 other good friends. We actually hiked up Beas Kund lake, a glacial lake at the Himalayas, the search of snow which started from Delhi, then up to Simla, then further north to Kullu - Manali and then a 3 day hiking trip up Beas Kund Lake via Solang valley.
8. I am not a fan of football after an incident back in primary school, as I was trying to get the ball, I ran into the chest of my classmate who was twice my size then. The hit was hard, and I fell backwards like a plank. Then a friend runs upto me and screams,” Eeeeeeeeeeeee! Got blood from your nose! Teacherrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!” I quietly got up and was later taken to the hospital for a check. Since then my nose has always given me problems and I hated the game. It was only much much later that some interest were kindled but never overwhelmed!

Hi George,
You play the violin? When I did the 8 random things, I said I always wanted to play the violin. I hope you can get back to it.
I also can’t go under water so I have to see the underworld via you or Jacques Cousteau.
Good to learn a little more about you beside the fish and gory operation photos you sometimes post, which I actually look at.

You play the violin?! hehehe…. so funny leh. You don’t look the violin playing type. I hope to hear you play one day though.

Violin is one my fav music instruments. I’ve plan to take it up as beginner. I hope it is not too late.
Hrmm, have to think twice if wanna to take a ride from you. Or else, need to play clown to keep you awake! Ouchh ..tired! hehe

jmb and ECL, thanks. I actually love the violin. I really hope to get back at it.
hoiling, I managed to drive from Marang jetty all the way back to KL yesterday without sleeping. That is of course, thanks to my co-driver who was making me talk non stop from the start to the end of the journey. What ever it is, I did it! Yahoo!

You forgot to mention how we almost got lost in the Himalaya’s in the middle of the night!!
That indeed is a memorable event in all our lifes…….
