What would you choose?

I am in a dilemma. Just as soon as I lost my companion, Canon A620, replacements choices were informed to me!

Well I’m not going to make a suggestion about the choice you have here. I am still trying to get a handle on my Canon A620. I can’t believe you have taken all your great photos with an A620. My photos are just not in the same league. Looking forward to the photos.

jmb, the A620 is a magnificent camera. I would not consider buying another if not for the fatal drowning. Most of my pictures are taken on manual mode thus the difference I suppose.

Sorry to hear about your sayang A620..

I’m a diehard Canon sapoter. Hehe. But the fujifilm is worth checking out. I read that fujifilm’s CCDs are better.. i wonder how true that is. I still think that Canon’s optics and overall value are unsurpassed.

I see the one you are looking at is also a camera for diving? Eh, very cheap ……

I have a Fujifilm and I love it, not the same as you show there, but even with mine you can get the housing.

With mine I’ve had some amazing photos just from sticking the camera out of the window and snapping whilst we have been driving.

I would say if the canon drowned maybe you should try another make.

I feel the Canon is a better deal. Ever thought about using SLRs? Nikon D40x with kit lens is selling at a few hundred RM more than the canon. Once you get a hang of using it I’m sure u’ll be taking more superb photos with an SLR… Not sure if they have underwater housing though…
