The 80s and 90s had some of the best songs till date. I still do listen to most of them and won’t mind listening to it anytime.

1. Another Day In Paradise - Phil Collins

I remember I was in Singapore during this time and walked around Orchard Street to buy his album. It was sold out. I only manage to get his album a month later.

2. Nothing Compares 2 U - Sinead O’Connor

Who can forget this bald lady with very clear voice. She was good but did not last very long. I did not really like the other songs in her album

3. It Must Have Been Love - Roxette

Wow! This was a hit and so was Roxette. They had one of the best albums ever. Another song of theirs would be ” Dressed for Success”

4. Blaze of Glory - Jon Bon Jovi

I must say this was one of the most inspiring songs for me. Well sang and huh! I can still sing it in my mind.

5. Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice

This song was perhaps their beginning and end for Vanilla Ice. They are still considered as one of the best white rappers ever. The beginning of the song was taken from Queens album. The dance sequence was additive and the trade mark was their hair cut that made a worldwide revolution.

There you have it. My songs when I was 18.

Now who do I gladly pass the baton to, hmmmmm……
