Hi, it is festivities again.This time it is Chinese New Year on the 18th February 2007

New Year festivities traditionally start on the first day of the month and continue until the fifteenth, when the moon is brightest.The 15th day of the new year is called the Lantern Festival, which is celebrated at night with lantern displays and children carrying lanterns in a parade.

Well, this year is the Year of the Pig, the Fire Pig to be exact. Legend has it that in ancient times, Buddha asked all the animals to meet him on Chinese New Year. Twelve came, and Buddha named a year after each one. He announced that the people born in each animal’s year would have some of that animal’s personality.

So who are the pigs – those born in 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995 and obviously 2007.

Personality?
