Sad State of Affairs

There just too many mentally ill people out there. Some overt and obvious but others very subtle. But all of them need treatment. Sometimes you wonder, maybe abortion has its benefit - a young lady raped or from any other reason, becomes pregnant and is not ready to have a family, the child she carries is then an unwanted child and thus such situations would occur especially when there is inadequate support from the immediate family!!

At first when I saw the pictures i tot i saw a full blwon meningitis… reawlly don’t know the cause but if the death of this innocent child really due to the neglient parents then I can only hope the child went to somewhere safe and peaceful finally.

This child looks well-nourished and the skin is healthy. Maybe initially not neglected, but got abused within a short period perhaps?
Is that blood mixed with CSF? Has a head-injury, i suppose.

Hi sorry for the abscence. Again I got busy! Guess what 2 ruptured aortic aneurysm in a week is by my hospital and most hospital scale here amazing and intense and extremely “jonah”(bad luck)
Well this baby was sent to me without details. However, from my research I think this was the case of a couple who abused this adopted child as they were childless in Penang. If not mistaken, the child is only 3 year old died from blunt head injury. Those spots are cigarette butt marks and the blood like Bernard said looks like mixed with CSF, a fluid from within the brain, usually indicates a breach of the skull as in base of skull fracture with rupture of the tympanic membrane.
Bernard again made an excellent observation - that this child was initially not neglected. This child was only recently adopted by this couple who started to abuse this child as they felt the “child was a bit noisy”.
Being noisy is far better than acting like an animal! This itself is not a good comparison.
