That Merry Christmas in Hawai’i.
So how did you spent it?
Christmas Eve
Well, despite my parents and my eldest sister & her family wasn’t around, we kind of made it to keep traditions alive.
It started with a Christmas Church service in the morning. We then rushed around for some last minute shopping and a trip to the market and walla it was close to late afternoon.
Quickly we got ready to meet in my sister’s (Saji) house for dinner.
The gathering brought warmth and happiness to fill in the abscence and surprisingly, my parents who are presently in India made a timely call to send their loved greetings. This was followed by a call from my sister, Susan and her family in Australia. We miss her a lot – I must say she was and still is our pacemaker. The children enjoyed themselves and we called a day at close to midnight.

Christmas Day
Well my sister,Sherly, plunged herself into the kitchen preparing lunch for some guest. Food as usual was splendid.

I then decided to perform my promise I made to myself for a while now. I decided to take my niece and nephews out on my own. My sister, Saji was a little worried whether I could handle 4 kids 10, 6, 6 and 2 years old alone. Plans were made and off, the five of us left to Cineleisure at the Curve.
The movie that we planned to see, Happy Feet, was sold out and so, I decided to catch Eragon. I was a litle worried whether the 2 year old and the 6 year old kids would be able to sit through it. Well, we enjoyed the movie and I think they enjoyed the trip. I must say the kids were well behaved …. or maybe they were scared of me?! I was happier but Ruban was missing……. Hmmmm! Life!
