I thought he had obstrution to his deep veins but the ultrasound was normal. Anyway, I went ahead with the surgery with no complications.
There was another lady that I did where the ultrasound was also negative but intraoperatively the I knew the radiologist have made a mistake as the venous pressures were so strong and the repeat ultrasound a day after surgery showed DVT( deep vein thrombosis) God was I worried as her leg became bluish and mottled. I placed her on warfarin and waited patiently. her leg became better after 3 to 4 weeks and now she is well and off warfarin.
